Hello, I’m Daniela—the founder, formulator and maker behind The Nature In Us.

My interest in skincare grew from a lifelong connection to nature and a background in chemistry, biochemistry and the medical field. Over the years, I continued studying cosmetic formulation, botanical ingredients, herbal product making and aromatherapy. That combination of science and nature became the foundation of The Nature In Us.

After moving to Canada nearly 30 years ago, I eventually made my home in Kawartha Lakes, Ontario. Surrounded by the changing seasons and the natural beauty of life by the lake, I found the inspiration to create skincare that feels nurturing, purposeful and deeply connected to nature.

As my own skin changed, I became increasingly interested in the needs of mature and moisture-depleted skin. I wanted products that offered more than a beautiful scent or luxurious texture—I wanted thoughtful formulations designed to support hydration, barrier resilience, softness, luminosity and the visible concerns that can develop as skin evolves.

Each formula begins with a clear purpose. I thoughtfully combine botanical oils, plant butters, hydrosols and extracts with proven cosmetic ingredients selected for their performance, stability, safety and skin feel.

It is not about choosing nature instead of science. It is about understanding how they can work beautifully together.

Every product is created in small batches with close attention to ingredients, texture and the experience it provides. From facial skincare and nourishing body care to solid hair products and artisan soaps, everything is made with care here in Ontario.

The Nature In Us is proudly woman-owned, cruelty-free and committed to more thoughtful production and packaging choices. Many products are vegan-friendly, and complete ingredient lists are provided so customers can make informed decisions about what they use.
